Thursday Therapy DC has expanded to include the Baltimore/Annapolis area, and we’re thrilled to be bringing our June event to Annapolis! All wedding and event professionals are invited to mix and mingle on Thursday, June 6th at the Westin Annapolis Hotel, as they unveil their spectacular new ballroom! The Hotel Monaco will provide a no-host bar in their gorgeous venue, with floral decor by Multiflor, while Allison and Chris Britton Photography capture all the fun through event photos and a photobooth and MyDeejay spins fantastic music! Strap on your roller skates and head to Laurel Roller Skating Center on Thursday, November 8, 2012 for our TOTALLY RAD Roller Skating Party! Whether you’re on wheels or not, this event is a great opportunity to mix, mingle and make new contacts. Costumes from your favorite roller skating era (70s, 80s or 90s) are strongly encouraged, and this is a great opportunity for Baltimore and Annapolis-based vendors to see what the Thursday Therapy buzz is all about!

Admission is a flat $8.00 including skate rental, and while no alcohol will be available for this event, the snack bar will be open!

We have a gnarly team of cosponsors for this event: Spence Photographics is shooting, Fusebox Photobooth is supplying plenty of photobooth fun, and Evan Reitmeyer of MyDeejay will be dropping your favorite old-school jams, from funk to soul to pop to classic alternative to hip hop to New Jack Swing!

We had a great time celebrating the end of summer at our September Soiree, and plans are now underway for our October Networking Happy Hour! All wedding and event pros are invited to join us Thursday, October 4th from 6-9pm at The Dupont Circle Hotel at 1500 New Hampshire Avenue NW in Washington, DC. The hotel is generously providing canapes in the Glover Park Ballroom, and a full no-host bar will be available.
