Here’s what we’re looking for…
Our hosts are the connectors in their cities. We’re looking for people to bring the industry together. Are you looking to improve your leadership in your region? Then you’ll make a great Thursday Therapy host.
What are the responsibilities of a host?
Bring people together!
Hosts are responsible for putting together a monthly mixer once a month. We ask for a minimum of 1 year commitment (12 mixers). Initially hosting is as simple as finding a local bar or lounge to accommodate a small group of people for 2 hours of networking. Thursday Therapy guests pay their own way; hosts are not responsible for any cash outlay.
In some cities, event spaces will sometimes ask the host if they can hold Thursday Therapy events. This is a great way to partner with venues and spaces to help promote their space. Hosts are never required to hold events in wedding/event spaces. (It’s not our expectation.) The relationships grow naturally in some markets.
How does a host benefit?
Become a leader in your city’s wedding industry.
The biggest way that our hosts benefit is by becoming natural leaders in their market. When you bring people together, people notice. And – this brings our hosts business and referrals. Our hosts share that up to 80% of their business comes from connections they made as a Thursday Therapy host.
In a sea of ever-increasing competitors, this is a great way to stand out and show people what you can do.
What is the investment?
Partner with a well-known industry leader!
A host pays a $500 license fee to get on-ramped as a host. This includes the Thursday Therapy city-specific website, training, and marketing collateral (signs, business cards, coasters, etc). Hosts also get 20% off all Sage Wedding Pros educational conferences, workshops, and online learning. Sage Wedding Pros acts as a support system though-out the whole process. Each host will have a solid partnership with Michelle Loretta, owner of Sage Wedding Pros.
